This handmade, wheel-thrown mug is inspired by storybook gardens, featuring a small cottage door, mushrooms, a butterfly, and a twisted ivy border with stone details wrapping around the form.
The outside of the mug is finished in a soft pooling white glaze with gentle hints of pink and blue that break beautifully over the textured details. The inside is glazed in a smooth white speckle, perfect for everyday use.

I’m Lauren, the maker behind Cottage Ceramics!
I first started working with clay over four years ago when I discovered hand building, and what began as a hobby quickly grew into something much bigger. Once I found my way to the pottery wheel, I never looked back. My love for turning a simple ball of clay into durable, functional art has quite literally changed every facet of my life, and it’s something I bring into every piece I make.
